Jihlava
Jihlava offers something interesting for everyone. Visit the Zoo – it is a home to 150 species of exotic animal, also an African village called Matongo is here. Unconventional playground with mini Zoo is ready for children, where they can pet the animal. After that, we recommend to have a pleasure in swimming pool Vodní ráj (Water paradise). The Zoo and Vodní ráj are opened all year round. You can also visit some interesting sights: the underground corridors with illuminating wall, the Jihlava town hall with a large gothic hall, the Gate of Our Lady with exposition Jihlava fortress, the outlook tower at St. Jacob’s church which offers a beautiful view to city surroundings or a House of Gustav Mahler with an exhibition dedicated to the famous composer and conductor.

A traditional Music Festival Mahler Jihlava takes place from May to July. The most important event each two years in June is the miner’s parade.
